Peaches’ life changed again and again. She first belonged to an elderly woman who loved her deeply. After the woman passed away, Peaches lived in a car with a family member. Then, she was adopted by another elderly couple who gave her a wonderful life.

But when that couple had to move into assisted living, they were only allowed to bring one dog each. The rest were scheduled to be euthanized. Peaches was spared only because she happened to be at the vet that day. She eventually found her way to Ari’s Place, where she was safe, cared for, and surrounded by love for the rest of her life. Her story is why Ari’s Place exists.

We work hand-in-hand with volunteers, fosters, and partner organizations to reduce the number of homeless and abandoned dogs; educate the community about canine health and welfare; create solutions that keep pets and people together; and rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs in need.

This is not just a sanctuary. It is a community effort to create lasting change.
