The specific purpose of Ari Had A Dream, Inc. is to effect change in the counties of Riverside and San Bernardino, California and surrounding areas regarding the proper care and welfare of all animals, especially dogs, that are homeless, abandoned or rescued from abuse, within the meaning of section 501(c)(3).
Ari Had A Dream, Inc. envisions a NO-KILL society in which every animal can live out its natural life in a safe, loving and nurturing environment.
To reduce the number of homeless pets euthanized, placed in high-kill shelters or abandoned.
To provide a safe, nurturing environment for dogs whose owners can no longer care for them.
To maintain the owner-pet bond, however and whenever possible, by arranged personal or Skype visits, picture and/or videos.
To honor any owner’s wish that his/her pet be re-homed with a new forever family.
To provide temporary care for canine companions of deployed military to keep bonded pets together.
A dog can become homeless at any moment and for many reasons. The owner may pass away; become ill or injured; move into a residence where no pets are allowed or the owner may not be able to care for the dog because it is old or sick.
Even when previous arrangements have been made, the newly designated owner may be unwilling or unable to care for the pet.
Dogs who are abandoned or are surrendered to a shelter are subject to illness, injury and even death. At Ari’s Place, we offer an alternative for owners so that their dogs can enjoy a safe, happy and healthy life.
